Notice to Vacate
Final Inspection and Makegood.
Please refer to your lease and memorandum for the premises and having regard to the condition of the premises at the commencement of the tenancy, listed below is a final inspection guide, where applicable will apply.
Upon our satisfactory inspection of the premises, your bond/bank guarantee will be returned shortly thereafter. It will not be returned until all repairs are completed. Make sure you have completely cleaned and vacated the property prior to arranging a final inspection and return of keys.
- Marks/mirrors to be removed from walls.
- Walls to be painted.
- All light fittings are to be cleaned.
- All floors and skirting boards to be washed.
- Windows and window sills need to be cleaned.
- All cupboards and shelving inside and out to be cleaned.
- No rubbish is to be left at the premises.
- All keys, key fobs, access cards, alarm codes to be provided.
- Carpet that is marked or stained needs to be cleaned.
- Drapes are to be washed/cleaned according to fabric.
- Blinds are to be cleaned thoroughly.
- All exhaust fans need to be cleaned, e.g. kitchen and bathroom.
- Air vents dusted including air conditioning vents.
- Stove, grill and drip trays thoroughly cleaned.
- Lawns mowed and edges trimmed.
- Flower beds and pebble area to be weeded.
- Driveways, carports and all concrete areas are to be free from oil and grease stains.
- Particular attention should be paid to bathrooms, toilets and bathroom cabinets.
- All items on inventory to be accounted for where applicable.
- Gutters to be cleaned where applicable
